Definitions

  • Board: The board is the governing body for the league and has ultimate say in in the structure of the league.
  • Captain: The team’s contact for league related matters, you may have a captain that is not the head of your team.
  • Cycle: A Cycle consists of two (2) consecutive weeks starting on a Monday and lasting 14 days.
  • Current Player: A player who has previously been on any team’s roster during the current season and that team has played at least one match.
  • Evidence: This consists of screenshots and videos from as many player’s views as possible. The more player’s views the stronger the evidence will be considered.
  • New Player: Either new to the league entirely or players coming from a disbanded team that never played a match.
  • Main Lobby: The lobby where teams may vote on which map they want to play. This area includes the team shooting ranges.
  • MMR: Is a Match Making Ranking system based off of team and individual performance and is used to determine regular season matchups.
  • Podium Lobby: The lobby right after a map ends which shows the final scoreboard.
  • Roster Lock: This is hard date that after which no changes to rosters may be made except for adding new teams.
  • Rules Committee: This committee is comprised of Hyper Dash players who are not actively rostered on a Dash League team.
