- Dash League (DL) team captains are
- A team’s main contact for Board members, other team captains, live casters and competitors.
- Responsible for the team’s roster management on this website and DL Discord.
- Responsible for match negotiations with opponent team captains.
- Captains should open a DM conversation or start a thread in the #Match-Negotiation channel with all captains from both teams to do their negotiations.
- Captains are only allowed to negotiate on behalf of their own team.
- If a team’s captains are in need of someone other than the captains or another player on their team to negotiate for them, an exception to this rule can be made with Board approval.

- Captains need to respond to communications from their opponent captains within 24 hours. Not doing so may be seen as putting less effort into getting the match scheduled in a double forfeit scenario.

- They have created more than one (1) team that ended up folding mid-season.
- They have had previous season suspensions from league play.
- They are under 16 years of age (players under 16 at the time of this rule’s writing will be grandfathered in).
- They have received a DL Discord ban.
